What is Involved?

Various forms of facelift exist. In general, a face lift suspends tissues of the face in a vertical direction. Excess skin is removed. Neck muscles may be tightened and extra skin of the neck excised. Liposuction and excisional techniques may also be used to create a leaner appearing neck.

Incisions are strategically placed to be hidden within the hairline, along natural creases around the ear, and behind the hairline of the neck.

It typically takes about two weeks to recover from a face lift. Usually by this time, swelling and bruising have largely resolved and you are presentable again to the public.
