Crystal Wiggins, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA

Dr. Wiggins has been practicing audiology for several years in the Houston MedicalCenter and has now joined Bay Area Audiology. She received her Doctor of Audiology degree atLamar University in 2007. She is Board Certified in Audiology, a fellow of the American Academyof Audiology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech &Hearing Association. Dr. Wiggins is also certified Tinnitus Retraining Therapist and hasdedicated the last 7 years working with some of the most severe tinnitus cases. Dr. Wigginsserved as the Secretary/Treasurer of the Texas Academy of Audiology from 2014-2018. Dr.Wiggins is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston and Clinical Supervisor for LamarUniversity’s AuD students. Dr. Wiggins is a member of the Global Coalition for Hearing Health.

Dr. Wiggins’ work does not stop just in the clinic or in academia. She is also involved inphilanthropy work. She is one of the active board members for Houston’s Hear-Say Partners inHearing. Dr. Wiggins’ spends weekends counseling and fitting patients with hearing aids that areless fortunate through the non-profit organization of Hear-Say. Using her limited capabilities inspeaking other languages such as Spanish, ASL and Arabic, Dr. Wiggins has been able toprovide excellent care to those who might not have received it otherwise. She travels with Faithin Practice for surgical missions in Guatemala.

One of Dr. Wiggins’ passions is helping raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association. Dr.Wiggins has rallied her office this year in support of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. In the previous years, she has been awarded the Champion Award.
Dr. Wiggins is a member of The Church Without Walls in Houston, TX and has served inthe Greeter’s Ministry for over 12 years.

One of her favorite sayings is “I don’t work miracles but I work for the One who does!”
